About the role

Reporting to the GM of Stakeholder Relations and Engagement, the Communications & Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading, developing, implementing communications strategies that raise awareness of the organisation nationally. It will work with a broad range of stakeholder both internal (Executive Leadership team) as well as a broad range of external groups including industry, government and training providers.
  
Key Responsibilities    
  • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to increase awareness and engagement both internally and externally.
  • Managing communications activities through social media, website content management and other externally focused material
  • Management and maintenance of corporate branding (including logos, templates, etc.)
  • Moving quickly to respond to media queries including new and emerging issues and establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with media
  • Writing engaging content and devising creative, innovative, and cost-effective ways to share stories with key audiences on a local, state, national and international level
  • Provide advice to the Executive team as and when required on education and training issues that may inform industry engagement operations.
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering marketing and communication strategies
  • Excellent written communication or copywriting skills
  • Experience working with stakeholders, including external agencies in a medium to large organisation
  • Experience in the education & government industry is advantageous
  • Budget management experience is a must
