This is a hands-on role partnering closely with operations, supply chain and production teams to deliver accurate costing, inventory analysis and manufacturing reporting that drives business performance.

You’ll play a key role in month-end processes, inventory management, variance analysis and operational decision support within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory accounting and month-end close processes
  • Analyse manufacturing and production variances
  • Review gross margins, labour efficiencies and inventory performance
  • Support standard costing, cost roll-ups and new product costing
  • Partner with operations and plant leadership on budgeting and performance analysis
  • Assist with annual stock takes and external audit requirements
  • Conduct make vs buy analysis and support cost reduction initiatives
  • Monitor excess and obsolete inventory and drive improvement actions
  • Produce regular operational and financial reporting for key stakeholders
About You
  • Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing and operational finance
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical capability
  • Confident communicator who can partner with both finance and operations teams
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
