You’ll play a key role in month-end processes, inventory management, variance analysis and operational decision support within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accounting and month-end close processes
- Analyse manufacturing and production variances
- Review gross margins, labour efficiencies and inventory performance
- Support standard costing, cost roll-ups and new product costing
- Partner with operations and plant leadership on budgeting and performance analysis
- Assist with annual stock takes and external audit requirements
- Conduct make vs buy analysis and support cost reduction initiatives
- Monitor excess and obsolete inventory and drive improvement actions
- Produce regular operational and financial reporting for key stakeholders
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment
- Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing and operational finance
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical capability
- Confident communicator who can partner with both finance and operations teams
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
