Our client is a market leading ASX listed communications organisation. Due to continued growth in 2020, this business is presently looking for an outstanding Credit & Collections Manager to come on board and be heavily involved in the strategic direction of the business in a truly multi faceted role.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Manage the credit function (Sydney & Melbourne), including collection activity of the team
- Implement new strategies to reduce time between service delivery and cash receipt
- Analyse pre-existing processes and procedures
- Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes
- Educate and train leaders in best practice credit management concepts, controls and collection activities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders
- Facilitate closer relationships with Finance and the wider business
- Month end and year end reporting
The successful candidate for this position will require the following experience and skills:
- Extensive experience in a credit management position, ideally having worked within telecommunications, utilities or energy industries
- Proven capacity to both develop and execute change management strategy
- First class communication and presentation attributes
- Well developed leadership skills to manage a medium sized team
- Senior position with large scope to heavily impact the direction of the credit department
- Outstanding salary - circa $120,000 - $140,000 + superannuation, dependent upon prior experience
