Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Credit Manager to join their team. Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Manage the credit function, and oversee one Credit Officer
- Lead end to end credit, collections and debt management activities
- Efficiently manage a debtors ledger of national accounts
- Account reconciliations
- Focus on the management of insurance and credit risk, and conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes
- Follow up on outstanding accounts
- Optimise existing processes to achieve strategic goals whilst implement new strategies to increase efficiencies
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders
- Reporting duties
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Senior Credit position, along with the following skills and attributes:
- First class communication and presentation attributes
- Keen desire to improve processes and procedures
- A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude
- High level interpersonal and time management skills
- Attention to detail, initiative and strong negotiation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to positive influence
- Effective time management & organisational skills
