Our client is a market leading, privately owned Australian business. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Officer to join their friendly and dynamic team.
Duties
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, and working within a small finance team, your daily tasks will include:
- Ensure prompt collection of due debt and take appropriate action on overdue debt
- Respond to internal & external AR related queries as necessary
- Resolve billing & other customer account issues
- Effectively liaise with the sales arm and other areas of the business to ensure the best possible outcome
- Document procedures & work instructions that are specific to the debtor book managed
- Perform daily customer billings
- Allocation of customer receipts where necessary and perform various reporting
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in an end to end Credit position
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- A proactive approach to workplace tasks
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate excel skills
