The Role
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you will support the Accounts Receivable function while remaining actively involved in day-to-day credit operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and guiding the AR team, acting as a key escalation point
- Overseeing daily credit operations including invoicing, allocations, reconciliations and collections
- Managing overdue accounts and proactively resolving customer disputes
- Partnering with internal teams such as sales, customer service and warehouse to streamline outcomes
- Preparing AR reporting and analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Maintaining customer master data including new accounts, PPSR checks, credit limits and payment terms
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
You are a confident and commercially minded credit professional who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and leading by example.
You will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in credit control or accounts receivable, including team leadership or supervision
- Strong expertise across debt collection, reconciliations and high-volume transaction processing
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
- The ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining high attention to detail
- ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, alongside strong Excel capability
