Sharp & Carter are proud to partner with a well-respected and values-driven organisation for the recruitment of a Customer Care Specialist on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting families during emotionally sensitive times, ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy. You’ll be joining a collaborative Customer Care Hub that values compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for families reaching out for support, listening carefully to their needs and responding with warmth, patience and professionalism.
• Accurately record and manage information to ensure all requests and arrangements are handled smoothly and efficiently.
• Handle sensitive and sometimes complex situations with discretion, empathy and sound judgment
• Work closely with Directors, Regional Managers, and other internal teams to coordinate services and provide a seamless experience for families.
• Maintain strong organisational practices, balancing multiple enquiries and tasks while meeting service standards and deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required

• Genuine compassion and empathy for families in need.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Resilience and maturity to manage sensitive and emotional situations.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and confident using technology.
• Ability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in customer service or contact centres, ideally in sensitive environments.
