About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Operations Coordinator to join the team on a 3-month temporary contract. This role plays a key part in supporting sales and operations through efficient order management, coordination of inbound and outbound product flow, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will act as a central link between sales, customers, and the distribution centre to ensure that orders are processed accurately and on time, helping to drive an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales order processing, including order collection, confirmation, and tracking.
- Liaise with internal teams to monitor incoming shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Provide proactive updates to customers and the sales team on order and delivery status.
- Support DC operations and order fulfilment activities to meet service expectations.
- Handle returns, claims, and cancellations in line with company procedures.
- Assist with data and reporting to help track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to communicate new product ranges.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely financial reconciliation of customer orders.
- Experience in order management, inventory coordination, or customer service within a commercial or retail environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential; advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Salesforce are highly regarded.
