A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join a high-performing operations team in a temporary capacity. This role is pivotal to ensuring optimal inventory levels, robust forecasting, and seamless communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
You’ll play a key role in demand planning, purchasing, supplier forecasting and sales alignment, all while keeping customer satisfaction and stock efficiency at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate weekly demand forecasts using historical sales, trends, and promotional calendars
- Analyse daily sales performance and adjust forecasts accordingly
- Lead coordination of new product introductions and end-of-life planning
- Manage supply plans by maintaining optimal inventory levels and preventing waste
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and accurate forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement through reporting, data analysis, and participation in the S&OP process
- 3–5 years’ experience in demand & supply planning within FMCG
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations and S&OP
- Proficient in Excel and data tools (Power BI experience desirable)
- Confident working cross-functionally with sales, suppliers and warehouse teams
- ERP experience (e.g. Pronto, Smoothie) advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred
