The role:
Our client is looking for a DevOps engineer to join their growing DevOps team and take part in their development operations and it's evolution.

With a number of recent acquisitions and new business initiatives this opportunity will appeal to experienced DevOps engineers to not only add their value to existing systems, but also to build systems from the ground up.

What you will do:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Experience:

• Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer with at least 4-5 years of experience.
• Experience Building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab a plus)
• Proficient at building infrastructure with AWS
• Strong Linux knowledge

Good to have:

• Building infrastructure as a code, preferably Terraform
• Working knowledge of monitoring databases, preferably Cassandra
