The role:
We're looking for a DevOps engineer to join our growing DevOps team and take part in our development operations and its evolution.
What you will do:
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
Extensive experience Building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab a plus)
Proficient at building infrastructure with AWS
Strong Linux knowledge
Significant Experience with building infrastructure as a code, preferably Terraform
Working knowledge of monitoring databases, preferably Cassandra
