We're partnering with a well-established organisation currently undergoing a major cloud transformation, looking to appoint a DevOps Engineer into a newly created position.

This role has opened following the promotion of an existing team member into a Team Lead position and will play a key role in helping shape the organisation's future cloud capability and engineering practices.

The business has already established its Azure infrastructure and is supporting production workloads in the cloud, however they are still in the early stages of their broader cloud journey. They are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who can bring strong technical capability, maturity and guidance as they continue migrating legacy on-prem environments into Azure.

This is a highly visible role within the organisation, acting as the bridge between Operations, Security and Applications teams whilst helping drive best practice across infrastructure automation, CI/CD and cloud engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and evolve Azure cloud infrastructure environments
- Assist with the migration of legacy on-prem applications into cloud-native architecture
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices
- Work closely with Development, Operations and Security teams
- Help guide tooling, processes and engineering standards across the environment
- Support .NET-based application delivery pipelines and deployment processes
- Contribute to the decomposition and modernisation of existing applications and platforms
- Assist in navigating challenges across repositories, tooling, approvals and access controls

Technical Environment:
- Microsoft Azure
- Terraform 
- CI/CD pipelines and automation
- .NET-focused environment

The ideal person will:

- Have strong Azure and Infrastructure as Code experience
- Understand DevOps best practices and modern cloud engineering approaches
- Be comfortable working in structured and security-conscious environments
- Be proactive, pragmatic and capable of self-managing
- Bring maturity, reliability and strong stakeholder engagement skills
