About the Role

The Digital Marketing & Performance Manager is responsible for developing and executing the digital marketing strategy to support the marketing, accelerating growth and supporting commercial objectives around lead generation and conversion.

The role will contribute to building the organisations digital maturity and effective use of martech platforms for online and offline initiatives, driving strategies and tactics that help drive conversion performance  and delivering optimisation. 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role is responsible for performance delivery (acquisition, nurture, and conversion) through digital channels (owned and paid) in line with the company’s growth ambitions.
  
This position works closely alongside internal marketing teams, customer engagement, sales, and key business stakeholders, while leveraging relationships with external partners and vendors to deliver results through innovative campaigns, and best-in-class digital strategy.



Duties 

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end digital marketing process from insights through to execution to drive customer and commercial outcomes; including insights, conceptualisation, planning, briefing, feedback, stakeholder engagement, channel testing, segmentation and post campaign analysis.
  • Apply best practice principles across digital marketing channels as related to user experience, content creation & distribution, optimisation, platform utilisation, reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and implement strategies to drive new lead generation and nurture existing prospects through the funnel, achieving business targets and growth in key feeder markets.
  • Driving strategies and tactics that help drive performance and deliver optimisation.
  • Data-driven professional focused on evaluating and crafting conversion-centric, digital strategies and experiences to help improve metrics and deliver results.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with A/B testing, website analytics and the UX conversion strategies and tactics that help drive performance and insights.
  • Plan and implement strategies for digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social, programmatic, CRM, UX, email, social media best practice and display advertising campaigns
  • Undertake annual business planning and engage in performance benchmarking with Digital Agency partners
  • Effectively manage key external partner agencies to drive digital performance and efficiencies to key metrics, budgets, retainers and KPI’s.

Skills and Experience

  • 4-5 years’ professional experience in a related digital or performance marketing role.
  • A bachelor degree or relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated record of success managing marketing technologies, digital monitoring and listening tools, email and campaign platforms, integrations, and customer data platforms.
  • You are highly proficient with Google analytics, tag manager, search console, Google ads, and social media campaign management tools. You have experience publishing website content using CMS tools.
  • Proficient with Performance marketing best practices and preferably Google Ads, Facebook & Microsoft Ads certified
  • Proven ability of utilising digital performance platforms to develop, manage and deliver multi-channel digital initiatives, to drive customer acquisition and deliver business goals.
  • Understanding of CRM including lifecycle marketing, user journeys and automated triggered marketing (Salesforce and / or Hubspot experience desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with suppliers and partner agencies.
