Join a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation in Hawthorn supporting a highly regarded COO during a critical transition period. The role:
Working closely with the COO, you will provide high-level executive support across one of the organisation’s largest and most complex portfolios, spanning approximately 400 sites. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strong operational awareness, discretion, and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-level executive support to the COO
- Manage and coordinate operational meetings across a large portfolio
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage complex and sensitive communications, including calls from family members
- Identify issues proactively and provide practical solutions
- Take a hands-on approach and support where needed in a dynamic environment
- Proven experience supporting at Director or C-suite level
- Background in large, fast-paced or complex organisations
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Able to work at pace and manage multiple priorities
- Immediate start required
