About the Role
This position sits within the applications/technical support function, acting as the key link between the business and its customers. You will provide on-site technical support across food manufacturing environments, ensuring packaging systems are operating effectively and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
It’s a highly autonomous role with a strong national focus, requiring regular travel and close collaboration with internal teams across sales, R&D, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers across meat, poultry, and seafood processing sites
- Troubleshoot and optimise vacuum packaging systems in real-time environments
- Work closely with customers to understand operational challenges and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate internally with sales, R&D, and production teams to deliver best outcomes
- Support product applications and ensure optimal performance across different use cases
- Travel across Australia to support site-based requirements
- Technical background within food packaging (ideally meat, poultry, or seafood)
- Experience working with vacuum packaging systems or similar technologies
- Strong problem-solving ability with a hands-on, practical mindset
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously in a remote capacity
- Willingness to travel nationally
