An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join a large, well-known Australian organisation within a high-performing finance team.
This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial business partnering, supporting operational stakeholders across a large and dynamic portfolio environment.
The position would suit a technically strong accountant looking to further develop their commercial finance capability within a sophisticated corporate environment offering genuine flexibility, career development and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational stakeholders to support financial performance and drive commercial outcomes
- Manage controllable income and expense reporting and analysis
- Deliver month-end, forecasting, budgeting and year-end processes
- Provide insights and analysis around operational and financial performance drivers
- Support business stakeholders with commercial decision making and financial understanding
- Assist with reporting improvements and process enhancement initiatives
- Collaborate across finance and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial outcomes
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong technical accounting grounding
- Experience across budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders
- Experience within a large corporate environment will be highly regarded
- Strong Excel skills
- Up to $130,000 package inclusive of Super
