This national food business has a proud history in food manufacturing, delivering high-quality products to consumers across Australia. They are now seeking a talented and experienced Finance Analyst to assist their dynamic team at their Melbourne site in the western suburbs.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis, trend insights, commentary and executive briefings.
- Maintain reporting continuity and support key planning cycles.
- Support Adaptive Planning system activities, including testing, data validation, reconciliation, scenario testing and issue resolution.
- Assist model updates, workflow execution, month-end migration and early BAU transition alongside FP&A and delivery partners.
- Support customer submissions across volume, margin, labour and overheads, including data checks, reconciliations and scenario/price modelling.
- Provide coverage during Commercial Finance leadership transition and contribute to major finance workstreams.
- Collaborate with Site Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, BI, Group and IT/data teams to ensure strong communication, data quality and reporting integrity.
- Support uplift of tools, reporting templates and governance practices across finance processes.
- CA/CPA Qualified or equivalent
- Experience working within a medium-large size FMCG/Manufacturing business
- Strong communication / analytical skills
- Ability to business partner with a variety of stakeholders
- Advanced Financial modelling skills and experienced in using
Business Intelligence tools (Power BI and Power Query is
a plus) - SAP experience is advantageous
