Sharp & Carter has partnered with a multi-billion dollar Australian icon that operates across multiple industries. This is a newly created role sitting within the retail arm of the organisation.
The Role | Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager
The role will provide commercial and financial expertise with a focus on P&L management, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and investment decision evaluations.
- Develop robust financial assumptions and analysis for business cases and post implementation reviews. Investment decision evaluations and decision support.
- P&L management
- Capital & project cost management
- Perform Business valuations
- Management of month end close and management reporting
- Manage budget and forecasting for your stakeholder groups
- Work cross-functionally and support stakeholder groups by generating insights on business performance through analysis and recommendations
- Development and enhancement of advanced financial modelling tools
CA/CPA qualified, you will possess experience within a similar commercial organisation (preferably retail) or chartered accounting firm.
Your analysis skills allow you to see both the detail and bigger picture, while your MS Excel capabilities are advanced.
Interpersonally, you are bright, hungry to learn, possess excellent communication skills and most importantly, be capable and willing to provide support to the wider finance team.
