Due to a positive restructure Afford are recruiting several key roles in the finance function.

Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will deliver high quality and timely budgeting, financial planning financial data and accounting device to disability and employment Executives / Other Senior Managers to support and enable optimal decision making.
  
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure that the role contributes to a values’ driven culture that is collaborative, accountable, engaged, agile and customer centric
  • Build strong relationships with other roles in head office and in operations, to ensure we are working in partnership to deliver the Vision of Afford
  • Finance Partnering including providing financial planning, analysis and advice to executives, senior managers, and other relevant staff members.
  • Management accounting and reporting for the relevant programs including the end of month and end of year processes and preparation of end of month/quarterly reports / forecast for Divisional Executives
  • Finance support for projects, services and business opportunities including facilitating the investigation of funding options, analysis of business cases, decision making and preparation of reports.
  • Providing financial advice and support for corporate initiatives including structure and service reviews, process improvements and cost management initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • Detailed knowledge of financial accounting and the principles.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business / Commerce / Finance.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA.
  • Skills, knowledge and experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, and the provision of financial advice.
  • Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering with key stakeholders across an organisation
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Desirable to have knowledge of the disability sector or other community service areas and/or worked in a not for profit
