An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a growing market leader supporting major infrastructure, mining, defence and large-scale project clients across Australia. The business is experiencing strong growth and has secured several high-profile projects that will drive the next phase of expansion.
This is a newly created role designed to partner closely with operational and commercial leaders, providing meaningful financial insights, driving performance and helping shape strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance analysis
- Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insights and decision support
- Analyse pricing, margins, volumes and profitability across projects and customers
- Identify risks, opportunities and cost improvement initiatives
- Support demand planning and supply chain performance outcomes
- Deliver CAPEX analysis, investment appraisals and post-investment reviews
- Translate operational drivers into clear financial outcomes and recommendations.
- CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance roles
- Experience within asset-heavy environments will be highly regarded
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, evolving environment
