An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team within a large and complex organisation.
Reporting to a Head of Business Partnering, you will play a key role in supporting operational leaders by providing financial insights, analysis and decision-making support. Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with operational stakeholders to provide financial support and guidance.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting processes.
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Supporting the preparation of business cases and investment proposals.
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through financial and operational analysis.
- Assisting stakeholders to understand financial performance and key business drivers.
- Supporting month-end processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, systems and financial processes.
- Building strong working relationships with managers and key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Supporting the broader finance team with ad hoc analysis and commercial projects as required.
You are a proactive and curious finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and translating financial information into meaningful business insights.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification (completed or currently undertaking).
- 2–5 years' experience in a finance, commercial analyst or business partnering role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in finance business partnering.
- The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
- Experience within healthcare, aged care, NDIS, community services or other service-based organisations will be highly regarded but is not essential.
