This role will play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through the delivery of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, business partnering and commercial analysis. Working closely with senior finance leaders and operational stakeholders, you will help drive business performance through insightful reporting, process improvement initiatives and data-driven decision support.
This position is ideal for an ambitious FP&A professional looking to broaden their commercial exposure while contributing to the growth and transformation of a complex, multi-divisional business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting and KPI reporting.
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Deliver financial and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with key stakeholders across corporate and operational functions.
- Analyse large and complex data sets to generate meaningful business insights.
- Support Board and executive reporting requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
- Assist with the implementation and optimisation of planning and reporting systems.
- Support ad hoc projects, business cases and commercial evaluations.
- Coordinate and manage FP&A activities across multiple business units.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
- Experience with planning and reporting systems such as TM1, Jedox, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights or similar platforms
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering roles.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH and complex financial models.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimisation.
