Working closely with senior leaders across finance, operations, technology and project teams, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic capital investment decisions across a large multi-site retail network. This is a highly visible position that combines financial analysis, business partnering and investment governance, providing exposure to major store, technology and business transformation initiatives.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to evaluate and support capital investment decisions
- Reviewing and challenging business cases for major projects and initiatives
- Managing capital budgets, forecasts and investment reporting
- Providing financial analysis and insights around project performance and return on investment
- Preparing executive-level reporting and investment committee presentations
- Supporting governance, controls and investment approval processes
- Monitoring project spend, benefits realisation and business outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement across reporting, systems and processes
- CA/CPA qualification
- Experience within Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance roles
- Strong financial modelling and investment appraisal capability (NPV, IRR, DCF)
- Experience managing Capex budgets, forecasts and business cases
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- The ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful commercial insights
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience within retail, FMCG, wholesale, franchising, property or other multi-site environments will be highly regarded
