As the Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the senior management team and be responsible for adding commercial value and insights whilst also managing process improvements, as well as internal and external financial reporting and accounting matters across the business.
This is a broad role with a particular emphasis for providing accurate reporting and forecast information to the senior management of the company whilst satisfying all of the compliance obligations of the business.
- Support the CFO with finance applications and valuation requirements
- Manage project and business feasibility reporting, identifying opportunities and risks to be addressed proactively
- Daily cash flow management including reporting
- Manage all internal financial reporting responsibilities of the business including monthly management accounts and project reporting
- Maintain oversight of all accounting matters ensuring strong organisational discipline and controls over the general ledger and other accounting records are being monitored and maintained effectively
- Attend to all tax compliance responsibilities of the business as well as working with external advisors on tax planning processes and opportunities
- Management of payroll and associated processing
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as required

The Candidate
CA / CPA qualified, this position will be an ideal first move for someone making their first step out of Chartered that has a client base of large and complex businesses. Alternatively, you could be a technically strong Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Manager with experience in property. It is essential that you have the ability to work towards deadlines, enjoying working in a progressive and fast paced industry and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
