About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to step into a well-established function, leading the day-to-day finance operations for a key division of the business.
This is a hands-on role suited to a technically strong finance professional who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment and enjoys working closely with both finance and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting 
• Manage detailed reporting requirements in line with contractual obligations
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including AP, invoicing, and payroll coordination
• Interpret and apply complex contract requirements to financial reporting and processes
• Manage billing cycles and ensure adherence to strict cut-off timelines
• Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team

The Ideal Candidate

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant capacity
• Strong technical reporting capability with high attention to detail
• Experience working within regulated environments (government or healthcare highly regarded)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive standards and accountability
• Confident communicator, able to partner with both finance and operational stakeholders
