The Role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role sits within a collaborative finance team and requires close interaction with international stakeholders. You will be responsible for end-to-end financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and ensuring alignment with group reporting requirements.
  
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with US GAAP
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with group policies
  • Support statutory reporting requirements and external audit processes
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple entities
  • Ensure timely and accurate intercompany balancing and resolution of discrepancies
  • Liaise with international counterparts to ensure alignment on intercompany processes
  • Support transfer pricing and intercompany policy compliance
  • Deliver timely management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial inputs
  • Support group reporting and consolidation processes using financial systems
  • Work extensively with ERP systems to manage transactional processing and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency, processes, and system utilisation
  • Ensure strong data integrity across ERP and consolidation systems
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP accounting standards and internal control frameworks
  • Support audit readiness and respond to audit queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with corporate governance and reporting requirements
  
The Candidate
You are a detail-oriented and technically capable finance professional who thrives in a hands-on role within a complex reporting environment. You bring strong technical accounting expertise with a focus on accuracy and control, along with proven experience managing intercompany accounting across multi-entity structures. Highly analytical, you possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while consistently meeting tight deadlines. You are proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused in your approach.
  
Skills & Experience
  • CPA or CA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in financial accounting and management reporting
  • Proven exposure to US GAAP reporting (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in intercompany accounting and reconciliations (essential)
  • Experience in a multinational or matrixed environment preferred
  • Hands-on ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central highly regarded)
  • Experience with consolidation systems such as Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (advantageous)
