Working closely with the Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function while mentoring and supporting a small finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a large-scale back-pay project across multiple clinics
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, and cash management
- Manage month-end processes, financial reporting, GST, PAYG, and tax obligations
- Maintain fixed asset registers and loan schedules
- Oversee intercompany billings and monthly recharges
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, Awards, and internal policies
- Provide leadership, training, and support to the finance team
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong experience across finance operations and payroll oversight
- Confident managing reconciliations, reporting, and compliance obligations
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience within healthcare, retail, multi-site, or service-based organisations highly regarded
- Exposure to Awards and back-pay calculations advantageous
