A well established multisite business operating within a complex and growing environment is looking for a Finance Manager to join their organisation for an initial 3-month contract with potential for perm.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role will provide critical support across financial reporting, commercial analysis, team leadership, and business partnering.

This position will suit a hands-on finance leader who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and can quickly add value across both operational and commercial finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple business units.
• Take full ownership of P&Ls, providing meaningful analysis and commercial insights to support business performance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across operations and leadership teams, translating financial data into clear business recommendations.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensure strong financial controls are maintained.
• Provide oversight and guidance across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and tax-related processes.
• Support audit requirements and statutory reporting obligations.
• Lead, mentor and support a finance team, ensuring deliverables are achieved within tight timeframes.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and financial outcomes.

About You

• CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Strong financial and management accounting background within a multi-site or complex operating environment highly desired.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Advanced understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet management, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong ERP systems experience and advanced Excel capability.
• Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and influence decision-making through commercial insights.
• Previous exposure to retail, consumer, FMCG or multi-entity environments will be highly regarded.
