The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to step into a key leadership role within a large and complex organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who can quickly take ownership of month-end, financial control and reporting activities, support the finalisation of financial statements and lead an established finance team through a busy external audit period.

Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of critical finance processes while providing leadership, direction and technical support to the broader team.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading and overseeing month-end financial reporting and control processes
• Supporting the finalisation of annual financial statements and associated reporting requirements
• Leading the finance team through the external audit process and working closely with auditors to ensure deadlines are met
• Supporting the preparation and finalisation of the annual report
• Providing guidance, oversight and technical support to the broader finance team
• Overseeing aspects of treasury and cash management
• Driving key deliverables while ensuring strong financial controls, accuracy and compliance

About You

• Strong experience in month-end reporting, financial control and statutory reporting
• Proven experience preparing or finalising financial statements
• Experience managing and coordinating external audit processes
• Demonstrated people leadership experience and the ability to support and guide a finance team
• Strong technical accounting capability and attention to detail
• Experience within a complex, multi-entity or asset-heavy environment will be highly regarded
• A background in property or asset accounting would be advantageous
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent

This role would suit someone who is confident operating autonomously, can quickly understand a complex finance environment and is comfortable balancing hands-on technical responsibilities with team leadership.
