About the Role:
Reporting to the CFO, where you will engage with senior executives and financial stakeholders to provide high quality financial reports to assist decision making, your role will have you accountable for the following:
- Oversee the day-to-day finance function
- Completion of month end and year end
- Provide commentary and variance analysis
- P&L and B/S preparation for individual entities and the Group
- Completion of various reports including board reporting
- Inventory Management
- Development and maintenance of inventory costings
- Oversight of the stocktake process
- Establish and report on key KPI's for the business
- Lead the year end audit & tax compliance (incl. BAS, FBT, Workers Comp, Payroll Tax for the Group (internationally & Domestically)
- Manage the Finance Team of 2
As the desired candidate you will be either CA/CPA qualified with experience ideally within a large manufacturing or waste management company in a similar role as outlined. You will exude confidence and the ability to mentor and develop a small team, the ability to present your commentary at their weekly meetings with senior leaders, also work through their manual process and implement process improvements and streamline efficiencies.
