Your Goal
 
The  Finance Manager will lead the finance department and will be responsible and accountable for all the accounting, reporting, statutory and tax compliance, payroll leadership and compliance, analysis and decision support across the organisation.
 
Your Key Responsibilities
 

  • Develop, maintain and facilitate the Finance team culture to be inclusive, people and team focused, learning focussed and contributing to being an integral part of the organisational culture
  • Provide positive motivational leadership in the context of team building to all staff and volunteers in Finance and the organisation at large
  • Lead and manage end to end the completion of monthly management accounts, including Company consolidation accounting with speed and accuracy.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll, including overseeing delegations matrixes, reviewing and signing off payments, invoices and purchase orders as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and productive relationship with key external stakeholders such as banks, software providers and any other third party relationships critical to the effective functioning of finance
  • Lead the preparation of all regulatory compliance, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee the preparation of all documentation for external auditors to review and manage the audit process to ensure audit sign off is achieved
  • Lead and ensure regulatory compliance of the payroll function
  • Manage the company performance against external and internal benchmarks.
  • Maintenance and documentation of accounting procedures & policies.
  • Solving technical accounting issues as they arise.
  • Oversee Financial Systems and liaise with CCO/IT regarding planning ERP upgrades.
  • Working closely with Senior Leadership team and board to deliver reports, analyse findings, potential risk areas and forecast opportunities.
  • Review and ensure all Balance sheet reconciliations are completed and anomalies investigated.
  • Report and investigate monthly P&L variances to budget (and prior year) and review with CCO each month.
  • Preparing timely analysis of results for the senior leadership and monthly board meetings.
  • Assist and provide input into the budget and forecast process from a Cashflow and BS perspective.
  • Improve financial reporting and analysis, identify cost saving or process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist CCO with ad hoc financial analysis and queries as they arise.
  • Foster and maintain communication and collaborative partnerships with internal business departments, customers and other stakeholders to facilitate the achievement of business priorities and projects.
