Due to growth, there is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a large property organisation as a Finance Manager. Sitting within a progressive and growing firm, this role will be in a high performing and friendly team. The Finance Manager will lead and manage in the financial reporting, management and communication of the organisations accounting and commercial activities, as well as drive process improvements and efficiencies.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Senior finance manager and supporting the Group FC, The main duties include:
- Assist the wider business with the delivery of financial reporting including results analysis, accounting policies, statutory financial statements and support for Committee and Board submissions.
- Drive process improvement in an effort to create efficiencies across the function.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including submission of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Manage and own Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and Working Capital forecasting, planning, and analysis.
- Responsible for Overhead budgeting, reporting, and analysis, ensuring Overhead cost targets are met.
- Manage full compliance with income tax, GST, and statutory reporting obligations.
- Work with external auditors and business partner across the finance team
