About the Opportunity
An opportunity is available for a proactive and detail-focused Finance Officer to join the team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support day-to-day finance operations and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage invoice queries and follow up on overdue accounts outside agreed credit terms
- Process credit applications, issue credit notes, and negotiate payment arrangements
- Handle supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, and perform statement reconciliations
- Complete daily bank reconciliations, including processing cheques, EFTs, and direct debits
- Oversee credit card administration, including issuing, cancelling, and reconciling expenses
- Assist with month-end tasks, including journal entries
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
