Reporting to the Finance Manager and senior leadership team, this role provides financial and administrative support across the organisation with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts and cashflow management
- Processing payment runs and managing recurring business payments
- Preparing journals, prepayments, and month-end reconciliations
- Managing supplier payments and supporting international transactions
- Monitoring foreign currency accounts and updating pricing information
- Reviewing financial data and investigating discrepancies
- Maintaining asset registers and financial records
- Assisting with management reporting, budgeting, and profit and loss reporting
- Preparing BAS and IAS documentation
- Supporting month-end and end-of-year financial processes
- Managing compliance documentation and business records
- Assisting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as required
- Supporting inventory-related administration and reporting
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and business projects
- Providing administrative support to the wider finance team and senior stakeholders
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar Finance Officer, Finance Administrator, Bookkeeper, or Accounts role, along with:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with bank reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes
- Understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
