The Position

An opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Officer to join a values-driven organisation making a meaningful impact within the community. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial operations.

This position is suited to a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality financial support while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

This role is seeking an immediate start in a temporary assignment, with high possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end finance function within a team environment, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain bank accounts, cashbooks and petty cash records, ensuring reconciliations are completed efficiently.
• Finance support including accruals, journals and data entry.
• Collaborate closely with the wider finance team to ensure financial processes and controls are followed.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Finance Officer, Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Strong accounts payable experience and general finance administration capability.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
