We are partnering with the QLD Government for the recruit of a 12 month contract, which will suit a hands-on finance professional with strong project and stakeholder management capability.

The Opportunity
Working within a high-profile transformation program, you will support the uplift of financial management processes, reporting frameworks and governance practices across a complex portfolio environment.
This is a delivery-focused role requiring someone who can partner with stakeholders, analyse financial data and help drive practical process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost analysis activities
• Develop financial dashboards, reports and process documentation
• Partner with project teams and senior stakeholders to improve financial controls and reporting capability
• Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and get their hands dirty  

About You

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CA/CPA qualification desirable)
• Strong experience within asset-heavy or infrastructure environments
• Previous experience in project-based or transformation-focused finance roles
• Strong Excel and ERP systems capability, with Power BI exposure highly regarded
• Hands-on approach with the ability to operate in evolving or low-maturity environments
