This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant with Retail/consumer goods experience. Our client is in the retail fashion space with renowned brand names looking for a Financial Accountant who will look after their online space and partner closely with the senior management and other stakeholders across the business.
The Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Month end management reporting
- Month end reconciliations
- Performance and variance analysis;
- Communicating necessary financial information to support business decisions
- Reconciliation of Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, After-pay, Zip-pay, Amex
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Tax compliance
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Ad hoc projects and requests by senior management
- CA/CPA qualified, or studying towards
- Experience in a financial accounting role
- Retail/Consumer Goods business experience highly preferrable with an online presence
- Willing to be challenged and proactive in their approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and examples of prior stakeholder management experience
- Exposure to senior management
