Working closely with an experienced finance team, you will support a broad range of financial accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement activities across a complex retail network.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position will play a key role in supporting month-end processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with month-end close processes including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Maintaining balance sheet integrity and supporting financial controls
- Supporting audit, BAS, FBT, and year-end processes
- Reconciling online sales and payment gateway transactions
- Supporting franchise and company store finance administration
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects
- Managing stakeholder queries across stores and the broader business
About You
- Previous experience in financial accounting or finance analysis
- Strong reconciliation and month-end experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- Retail, audit, or business services experience will be highly regarded
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) preferred
- 3-month temporary assignment
