Key Responsibilities
- Perform and maintain BAU balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances and aged outstanding items.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
- Partner with the Senior Management Accountant and wider finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and organisational policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with stakeholders across multiple business units and global finance teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and BAU reconciliations.
- Experience working within a large, global, and complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is highly regarded.
