Join a growing finance team supporting multiple business entities in a hands-on Financial Accountant role. You'll play a key part in month-end reporting, balance sheet management, statutory compliance and continuous process improvement, while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:

• Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Manage intercompany transactions, fixed assets and treasury-related accounting activities.
• Assist with statutory reporting, external audits and compliance requirements.
• Use Python and other automation tools to streamline reporting, improve data quality and enhance finance processes.
• Support accounts payable, receivable and cash management processes as required.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information and resolve accounting queries.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and automation within the finance function.
• Contribute to finance projects, system enhancements and business improvement initiatives.

About You

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.
• Around 3+ years' experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organisation.
• Experience with treasury accounting
• Exposure to Python or other automation tools to support reporting and process improvements.
• Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
