Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be trusted to drive month end, financial reporting, compliance, and systems improvement during a high growth phase across the business. You'll gain exposure to domestic and international reporting, alongside having the opportunity to work closely with operational & financial stakeholders to develop your business partnering acumen.  

You could be a technically strong financial accountant looking for a change of scenery, or a first mover from Audit/Business Services looking for your first challenge in commerce. Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reporting across a complex, multi entity structure
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare, review and analyse financial reports and reconciliations
• Undertake detailed general ledger reviews
• Partner with key financial/non financial stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting outcomes
• Process sales and inventory reporting within group reporting systems
• Lead and coordinate annual audit activities, including preparation of statutory financial statements and engagement with external auditors
• Contribute to finance transformation, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

A little about you: 

• CA/CPA qualifications (or nearing completion) 
• First or second mover looking for more challenge and diversity
• Proven experience in financial accounting and statutory reporting 
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills and strong capability across SAP (Preferred)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business
• A continuous improvement mindset and genuine desire to enhance processes and controls
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities
