You will work closely with senior finance leadership and play a key role in monthly reporting, grant acquittals, financial modelling, and systems optimisation. This position will commence as a 2–3 month contract with a strong view to becoming permanent. It is perfect for candidates who are immediately available or finishing a contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
- Produce program and service line P&Ls across multiple funding streams
- Partner with non-finance managers across service delivery teams
- Translate financial performance into practical business insights
- Month-End & Financial Control - Own the month-end process, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Track expenditure in line with funding requirements
- Prepare detailed financial acquittal reports
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Modelling - Support budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning
- Conduct financial modelling for new programs and service expansion
- Systems & Reporting - Build dashboards and management packs using Power BI and Excel
- Identify and implement system improvements and integrations
- 4–7+ years’ experience in accounting or management accounting
- Experience MS Dynamics Business Central
- Experience within government-funded or NFP organisations highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
