An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-known global organisation on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. Joining a high-performing finance team, you will play a key role in supporting month-end reporting, statutory compliance and business-as-usual finance activities during a busy period of growth and transformation.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly add value from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Ownership of month-end close activities including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting packs.
- Supporting statutory reporting requirements including BAS and other compliance obligations.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow activities.
- Business partnering with stakeholders across the wider business.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects.
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
- Previous Financial Accounting experience within a medium to large organisation.
- Strong month-end and statutory reporting experience.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.
- Available immediately or on short notice.
