The Opportunity
This is a high-quality opportunity to join the Australian arm of a globally recognised, US-listed luxury retail group operating across multiple iconic brands.

The business is currently undergoing a strategic transformation, following a significant global divestment and renewed focus on its core brand portfolio. This has created a need for a high-calibre Financial Accountant to join a lean, high-performing finance team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role offers strong exposure across financial reporting, month-end, and regional stakeholder engagement within a globally integrated structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of month-end close, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
  • Preparation of statutory accounts in line with IFRS requirements
  • Balance sheet integrity and review across key areas including inventory and leases
  • Supporting group reporting requirements and deadlines (US parent)
  • Partnering with retail and operational stakeholders across ANZ
  • Assisting with audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
  • Background in Big 4 / mid-tier audit, or first move into industry (candidates with prior retail/high-end luxury goods exposure with non-chartered background encouraged to apply)
  • Exposure to retail, consumer or inventory-driven environments (highly regarded)
  • Strong technical accounting foundation (IFRS)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with both local and international stakeholders
