The Role
Reporting directly to a well regarded and flexible Finance Manager, this role is for an immediate start for an initial period of 3-6 months (view to extend), your role will consist of the following:
- Partner with Store Managers and Operations Managers on Finance queries and operational accounting requests;
- Preparation, analysis and commentary of the monthly management report;
- Monitoring and review of inventory, controls and reporting;
- Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations, month end close, journals and accurals in SAP and maintain Chart of Accounts;
- Sub-ledger reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations;
- Timely and accurate submission of financial reports; and
- Audit activities.
You will be available to start immediately and can commit for a minimum period of 3 months, with a view to extend and a potential long term role available. You will be CA/CPA qualified financial accountant with experience from the retail sector (ideally multi-site). Experience with stock take and inventory is also essential to hit the ground running. SAP is ideal.
