The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will work closely with the FM and operate as a 2IC. The role will focus on the timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting including month-end, external statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting, with responsibilities listed:
- Monthly financial reporting
- Month end process
- Commentary on variance analysis to key stakeholders
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- BAS, Payroll tax, FBT, Workers comp, ABS and treasury
- Delivery of all audit requirements
As the suitable candidate you will be either CA/CPA qualified with experience in a multi divisional environment from a Retail/FMCG or Manufacturing industry. You will operate like a 2IC to the Finance Manager and also mentor the up and coming Accountants who are nearing their qualification completion. This role will also lend itself to succession planning with a stamp on your career aspirations.
