Based in the South West area, this global scale manufacturing business has enjoyed decades of success as the leader in its field. Headquartered in Europe they are a reputable and growing business that services a wide range of communities and have a sustainable business mode.

This role is a genuine "temp to perm" role. In this role, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for the financial control and balance sheet management of the business.

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Management and mentoring a small team; 
• Timely and accurate reporting of group and local financial accounting results;
• Maintain financial accounting records and reconciliations;
• General ledger reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations; 
• Control fixed costs and capital expenditure;
• GST and FBT compliance reporting;
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts;
• Cash flow forecasting;
• Annual budget forecasting;
• Compliance functions - BAS and Income Tax lodgement, FBT returns, workers compensation, transfer pricing;
• Deferred tax calculations;
• Treasury functions, including hedging; and 
• Support operational functions with process improvement

Ideal Candidate   

The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified (essential) with experience gained from a MNC or matrix / group style business. Technically astute, you will have strong experience as a finance manager or controller and experience with SAP is a must.
