About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering NPD projects from concept through to commercialisation. This is an immediate start opportunity for a hands-on Food Technologist who thrives in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading formulation development, bench trials and pilot plant activities
  • Managing factory scale-up and supporting successful commercialisation of new products
  • Developing and optimising formulations with a focus on taste, texture, stability and cost
  • Ensuring smooth transition of products from development through to Operations
  • Preparing technical documentation, product specifications, and supporting artwork requirements
  • Collaborating closely with QA, Procurement, Operations, and Marketing teams
  • Conducting sensory evaluation, product testing, and performance assessments
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across existing products and processes
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in New Product Development within food manufacturing (dairy highly regarded)
  • Strong formulation, scale-up, and product optimisation capability
  • Hands-on experience with pilot plant and/or factory trials
  • Ability to develop technical documentation and product specifications
  • Experience with sensory evaluation, stability testing, and product performance assessment
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for innovation
  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline
