A well-established multinational organisation is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join their finance team in Macquarie Park.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a highly visible role that will play a key part in driving business performance through budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis, inventory management, and stakeholder engagement across the wider organisation.

The Role
This is a broad FP&A position that combines traditional financial planning and analysis responsibilities with inventory management and business partnering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles
- Preparing rolling forecasts, financial models, and scenario analysis
- Conducting detailed variance analysis and providing actionable insights to stakeholders
- Supporting month-end reporting and preparation of management reports
- Partnering with Supply Chain and Operations teams on inventory management initiatives
- Managing inventory-related balance sheet accounts and monitoring inventory performance metrics
- Building dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility of business performance
- Providing commercial support and financial insights to operational and non-finance stakeholders
- Supporting strategic decision-making through analysis and business case development
- Driving process improvement initiatives across finance and reporting functions
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Approximately 7+ years of experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, or Management Accounting
- Experience working within a multinational organisation
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling capability
- Exposure to inventory accounting, supply chain finance, or inventory management processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to influence and partner with non-finance stakeholders
- CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems (highly regarded)
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and dashboard development (highly regarded)
- Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
