As a Finance Analyst - FP&A Analyst, you will report directly to the Group FP&A Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation through providing meaningful analysis and insights around business performance. You will also act as an effective finance business partner to several internal stakeholders across multiple departments. The duties of the role will include, but not be limited to the following.
- Enhance and build new analytic dashboards utilising SAP - BPC, and various tools within Business Objects
- Challenge and verify commentary of variances.
- Analyse data and provide insights, as well as commentary of variances
- Assist in the completion of a robust forecasting process and reporting framework
- Build and Develop Forecasting models/reporting as required
- Assists the FP&A team, manage the annual budget process for business
- Continuously review processes for improvement, including establishing and building analytical models/reports to enable comprehensive review of the company wide budget
- Support and implement improvements in the forecasting/budgeting process
- Build and implement new process/reporting requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of Group Finance and commercial groups
- Support site budget and forecasting process
- Drive and lead the preparation of analysis and management presentations
- Analyse and interpret drivers of business performance
- Resolving ad-hoc queries from operational management that arise within the division
The Successful Applicant
Ideally CA or CPA qualified, this role demands excellent communication skills, proven stakeholder management experience and a desire to improve existing analysis tools and reporting. The successful candidate will have proven Business Analysis or Management Accounting experience gained in a medium to large corporate ideally within a fast-faced environment. There will be some travel to regional sites in Victoria required to successfully complete the functions of this role. Previous experience using SAP - BPC will greatly advantageous.
